Bob is a well loved, treasured family member, but it isn't the same for the enormous number of unwanted African Greys and other parrots in captivity. This epitomises the human selfishness, irresponsibility and the neglectful, throw-away society we have become. Parrots are beyond the 'pet' concept and demand more than captivity can offer.
